For the extreme close up shot, I showed Syndey's eyes. 

For the close up shot, I showed Sydney opening up a locker. 

For the extreme long shot, I showed a view of the courtyard from on top of the balcony.

For the high angle shot, I filmed Sydney from on top of the balcony.

For this follow shot, I followed Sydney with the camera while she was walking in the hallway. 

For this full shot, I showed Sydney's whole body while she was on her phone. 

For the low angle shot, I filmed Sydney walking while the camera was on the ground. 

For this medium shot, I showed Sydney from her knees up while she was on her phone.


For this point-of-view shot, I ran at Sydney and showed my arm so it is clear that it is of the point of view of me running.
For this tilt shot, I showed the tables underneath and then panned up to the balcony with Sydney on it up above.

    I liked your extreme long shot because you could feel the scenery and see the background as a whole and it felt dynamic. I also liked the close up shot because you could feel some suspense wondering what was inside the locker. Finally, the tilt shot was also good since it made you wonder who was waiting at the top of the balcony.

    I liked your point of view shot because you couldn't tell if you were running to hug her or start a fight with her, so that was an exciting shot to watch. The follow shot was also one I liked because it made you feel like you were going wherever she was, and gave me a sense of adventure. Finally, I liked I liked the extreme close-up shot because it make me feel like I had a personal connection with her.

1. Rise: We saw a wide variety of shots including many close-up shots to focus on certain items like the player's shoes or soccer ball. The editor also used big letters to tell the viewer the title, actors, editors, etc. There was music in the background that set the scene and gave the viewer the feeling that the soccer player was working hard.  2. Dear Lover: The main thing noticeable about this opening is the sound. The students used a voiceover to narrate the story of the main character. The different angles and views of the pond showed the viewer that the character was sad and lonely. The music also set the vibe of sad and loneliness. Q3 Week 5 - Filming 2

  This picture shows me getting the set ready for filming. I placed a note under the wiper of my car so as Robin walked up to it, the note would give us an opportunity to kidnap him.  This picture shows our opening clip. It starts with Robin approaching the car and looking at the note. It took us a few tries to get the acting right and to figure out where everyone should stand and the camera angle.  This picture was taken after the last clip in our film. It ended with Robin in the trunk and us showing Emma that we caught him. This part went smooth for the most part but it took a few tries to get the timing and distance from the camera correct.

Q4 Week 1: Evaluate Your Peers

What specific elements of the film opening did you like? What specific elements of the film opening did you dislike? Did this look like a movie opener and did it make you want to know what happens next? Explain. Was there anything that left you confused? ( be specific) What suggestions do you have to make this movie opener better? I like the different angles and speed throughout the movie opener. It was fun to watch. I dislike how it was difficult to hear him in the beginning. It does look like a movie opener. I am left to wonder why he is kidnapped and who is next. Nothing was confusing. Definitely have better sound in the beginning. A different weapon would be more reasonable. Also, the girls approached him very slowly, It may be better if they ran. All the camera angles.
