Q3 Week 1 - Brainstorming
1. Rise: We saw a wide variety of shots including many close-up shots to focus on certain items like the player's shoes or soccer ball. The editor also used big letters to tell the viewer the title, actors, editors, etc. There was music in the background that set the scene and gave the viewer the feeling that the soccer player was working hard. 2. Dear Lover: The main thing noticeable about this opening is the sound. The students used a voiceover to narrate the story of the main character. The different angles and views of the pond showed the viewer that the character was sad and lonely. The music also set the vibe of sad and loneliness. The words on the screen were less bold and more mellow matching the topic of the film. 3. Dare to Thrill: This film had lots of electric music that at first made us think it was a game and the kids were just going on a fun dare ride.
