Q3 Week 8 First Draft Movie Opener

  Movie opener first draft

Q3 Week 7 Editing 2

This week we finished getting the clips in order and added sound to the movie. We chose to use some diegetic sound and some nondiegetic music. This gave us the most action-packed effect while still keeping the plot clear. We decided to title the movie Revenge. I also added a title screen with our title and actors. This editing took about an hour as well.

Q3 Week 6 Editing 1

This week we decided that Emma would be the main person editing our film because she had taken TV production and is familiar with IMovie. This week she started to put the clips together and decide on the transitions we wanted. She spent around an hour getting the clips put in order.

Q3 Week 5 - Filming 2

This picture shows me getting the set ready for filming. I placed a note under the wiper of my car so as Robin walked up to it, the note would give us an opportunity to kidnap him.  This picture shows our opening clip. It starts with Robin approaching the car and looking at the note. It took us a few tries to get the acting right and to figure out where everyone should stand and the camera angle.  This picture was taken after the last clip in our film. It ended with Robin in the trunk and us showing Emma that we caught him. This part went smooth for the most part but it took a few tries to get the timing and distance from the camera correct.

Q3 Weeks 4 - Filming 1

This week we planned out the steps of our filming process. We had to discuss what we wanted in each clip so the filming process would be faster once we were on set. We also planned what day we were going to film. We ran into issues figuring out time and place worked best with our busy schedules. We ultimately decided to film in the school parking lot after school one day.
